History:
Family and Childhood:
Cale was born to Professor Sam Tucker and his wife in the 31st century. There is very little known about Cale’s mother, though it is likely that she passed away when Cale was very young. Too young to remember though, so he has next to no memories of his mother.

Sam Tucker was a Professor and the lead in the Titan A.E. Research project. When Cale was young he would invent random little devices to play with, trying to impress his father. He was bright, young and impressionable, looking up to his father in every way. When the Drej attacked without warning, Sam Tucker had to save the Titan project, splitting up with Cale in the hope that he would be safe. He gave his ring to Cale and left the boy with his friend and Vusstran scientist, Tek. As Cale and Tek left, they watched as the Titan left planet and went into hyperspace, leaving Earth to safety. Cale watched Earth being destroyed, as well as the moon, just before they made their own jump to safety.

Leaving with Tek he grew up on Vusstra with Tek as his foster father and a younger ‘pod sister’ named Iji. There were next to no humans on Vusstra at all.

Ten Years Later:
At the age of fifteen Cale had become very bitter about his existence on a dying, polluted world as well as humans in general. After a Drej scout ship was spotted, Tek decided it was time to start moving again, wanting to continue his research on how to save his dying planet but also to find out why the Drej attacked earth in the first place.

They came to Salvage Station Tau 14, where Cale’s golden ring was stolen by Drifter Colony bullies that threatened little Iji unless he offered them something of greater value. He didn’t really care about the ring though unknown to Cale, it was rather important. To Cale the ring was just a relic from his father, who never came back; something he was rather bitter about.

When they came to the planet Qu’ut Prime he learned that forty years before it had been destroyed by the Drej and had been rebuilt on the torched remnants of the sister planet Qu’ut Minor. Impressed by the way they had rebuilt in secret, unlike his own human race, Cale took a lot away from the planet. He learned races can still flourish honestly after such devastation as well as continue on as a respectable race, again, unlike his own human kind. He also came away with a personal symbol known as the Qu’utchaa, in the form of a tattoo on his right arm. It’s a sword and barbed spike vine that circles it. He wears this with some form of pride.

When he accidentally revealed to Tek that he had lost the ring, Tek took them on a mission to find it again, taking the small group to a small drifter colony called New Marrakech. Searching this New marrakech for the people who stole his ring he began to see even more how bad humanity had become. He found that most humans lived in poor hovels made from rusted ship hulls and broken down machines. They didn’t seem to learn how to repair and maintain practical machines or computers and to him seemed poorer then most races he had seen. He didn’t understand why the Qu’ut refugees could possible thrive and rebuild in secret so easily and the Humans couldn’t even get back to a c class status. It disgusted him. He found his own race to be... lazy.

At last as he recovered his ring with cunning and not force, a Drej attack on the colony came in, scattering the humans once again. The Drej simply want to keep the humans low on the universal chain so they can’t take over as the Power. They don’t want to destroy the humans of the colony but just scatter them a bit to ensure they stay broken and downtrodden. Cale, Tek and Iji barely escaped the encounter.

They returned to Vusstra so that Iji could stay safe there and go to school, but Tek felt that after their adventure Cale’s connection to his race had just become worse. In an attempt to installing human solidarity into Cale that he wasn’t going to find on Vusstra, Tek took the boy to live on Tau 14. The boy hated it, but there were some humans there for him to try and integrate with a bit, as well as work he could do.

Five Years after That:
Stuck on the same space station Cale became a hard worker out in the salvage yards, using a high power device to cut apart wrecked ships out in space. He continued to learn machinery, science and tech from Tek as well as other studies, though he tended to stray away from anything that had to do with the Humans. Ignore this history when ever he possibly could.

While living here for the past five years was alright, it wasn’t a place he wanted to stay. He complained often to Tek about getting out of there. He had no more respect for humans then he had years before, choosing not to associate with them too often. For the most part he ended up in competition with them more then anything else. Cale hated being treated like a human and despite how much he did outside of the human race he was constantly insulted for being human, causing him to be bitter with many of alien races. This lead to a LOT of fights.

His life changed however when a subordinate of his father, Captain Joseph Korso appeared on the station looking for Cale. He said he had been spending the last 15 years looking for the boy, and told him about the golden ring. The ring was actually a device that showed a map of where the Titan Project (which would give mankind a future) was hidden. The ring was set to his father's DNA and thus worked only for a Tucker.

While learning all of this the Drej showed up, attacking the station and scattering everyone. Though Cale had no interest in the future of mankind, he had to escape with Korso, leaving in a large battle and jettisoning into space. They were picked up by the Valkyrie, Korso’s ship, and now parted from his foster father, Tek.

The crew of the Valkyrie is a small five man crew, consisting of Captain Korso, as well as Gune, Preed and Stith and a human pilot named Akima. Akima was a girl from a drifter colony, who Cale is attracted to almost instantly, though he accidentally insults her by talking about Drifter Colony Bums.

While on the Valkyrie Cale slowly started to ‘help’ the others find this Titan Project. The others on the ship seemed so interested in it, as it would be, for what ever reason, be the thing that saves the human kind. Cale didn't really care and didn't believe it would work, but he decided to help anyhow. The ring showed a map in his hand, so with Gune’s help they found the coordinates for the first step. To go to Sesharrim and talk to the Gaoul who were entrusted with the secrets of the map.

When they arrived at Sesharrim, a world full of small islands, water and hydrogen trees Cale and three others went out to look for the Gaoul, hoping to talk to them about the map. Huge winged like creatures surrounded the group, only to reveal that they were the Gaoul, a group of being that can not speak basic but understand it well enough. They show Cale how to read the map, making him raise his hand to the moon, which displayed the direction to go next. They had to find the Titan Project somewhere in the Andobi Nebula. Just as Cale realizes that his father must have stood in that same place, looking up at the same moon... the Draj attack.

On the run again, the group scatters, running for the ship again. With the help of the Gaoul they try to escape, running a chase through the Hydrogen tree fields. One Gaoul grabs Cale, trying to fly up, higher, to get away, but a Drej shoots the creature, losing Cale to fall, fall, fall. As he falls he skids twice on the water and comes to a tumbling stop in... a house. A very low tech house.

Personality: Cale is a large mix of things from brave to distrustful, thoughtless but brilliant, friendly but distant. He’s not too keen on humans but he has little love for other races as well. He can be a bit bitter and jaded at times. He’s not a bad person though, he’s just distancing himself from others in order to protect himself. He doesn’t commit to things to well. Like he said to Korso “If things don’t go well, you’ll see just how much like my father I am. I’ll leave.” This statement only backs up more just how much he’s upset with his father for never returning.

Other then father issues and species/human issues, he a friendly guy. A good guy to have as a friend, so long as you don't betray him, he’ll stay pretty loyal. Though he might say he’s out for himself and no one else, he will defend and protect friends or thoses he’s attracted too.

Speaking of attraction, he has an eye for pretty things. Ladies are fun to flirt with, though he never takes it completely seriously. When someone does catch his eye he will chase them, being clever, silly, charming or just fun around them to catch their attention. He’s like any other 20 year old boy and just wants to have a good time.

Cale is a good fighter but he has a short temper. He uses jokes to antagonize and instigate situations, as well as a personal defence to shield against others. His impatience with humankind and other races leads him to all sorts of fights, and personally, I think he likes them. A good hit to the face, a split lip, a black eye, he seems to be alright with the mild pains in the end.

The young man doesn’t really believe in the future. The Titan Project is a project that is meant to bring back hope for humanity. It’s also known as a Future for Humankind. He doesn’t even believe that humankind has a future other then being extinct (and sometimes thinks they should just BE extinct), let alone some project to make that future possible. He could care less about all that stuff. He isn’t homesick because you have to have a home to be homesick. Though he doesn’t consider himself a part of the Drifter Colonies, he does consider himself a bit of a drifter. If it wasn’t for Tek he would be wandering more.

In short Cale is a young man of 20 who enjoys adventure, fights, ladies and the idea of being ‘somewhere else’. He’s not too into commitment of any kind (with a person or with a job, friends or family) and would rather keep himself distant from others all together. Despite this fact he’s a friendly good guy who deep down is just looking for somewhere he belongs.

As for his feelings on the others: Captain Korso seems alright to him at this point in time. He’s a human but he’s also a bit of a father figure, though Cale still isn’t too keen on trusting him just yet.
Akima is hot. Really attractive, beautiful voice, lovely eyes and hair. He’s smitten, but she’s really temperamental on the whole insult of Drifter Colony Bum. Woops.
Preed is an annoying bastard who, though he helped show him around, isn’t someone Cale feels he can trust completely.
Gune is harmless, mad, insane, kind of amusing and not a bad guy. Cale is alright with him, though the hand licking thing was really annoying. Secret, he’s insane.
Stith is touchy... really odd. But she’s not so bad. Cale doesn’t interact too much though, mostly because he’s worried she might chew his head off.
Tek was like a father to him, more so then his father was. He taught him everything and he considers him his best friend, really. He’s very deeply attached to Tek, even if he doesn't show it.

Fears: Cale shows very few fears in the movie. There are a few things, general things you know, like being shot at in space, or not having the right space equipment and such, but other then that he doesn’t show too many horrible fears.

I like to think that he does fear that part of the reason his father never came back wasn’t because he was dead but because he was disappointed in Cale. Cale is pretty sure that it’s not a fact that the man didn't come looking for him but something else, though there is still that worry in the back of his mind. He has nightmares off an on about when he was a child and his father left him for Tek to take care of, then watching the Titan take off... and Earth blown to bits. That memory is always fresh in his mind.

As a general fear, he’s not too keen on fire. Controlled fire and energy weapons he can deal with. Candles aren’t all that much, but out of control fire and explosions sets him on edge. Sort of a kick back to watching earth explode perhaps. It doesn’t put him in a catatonic state or anything, but he doesn’t much care for it
.

Weaknesses: Cale has a weakness for dead food. Come on, is it too much to ask that his food already be dead? But seriously, he has a weakness when it comes to his father. He wants to very hard to be bitter and upset but things keep happening that remind him that maybe his father didn’t just leave him, maybe something else happened. It’s a question in the back of his mind, over and over and over that he is so unsure of that it’s maddening.

He’s not much of a people person and tends to be a bit judgemental and snippy at times. Though it depends on the situation really. His temper gets him into all kinds of situations and trouble too.

He’s not that great of a shot with a gun or phaser either...

Mundane Strengths/Abilities: Cale is pretty fit and has some pretty good stamina. He can go days without sleep (but heavens forbid he doesn’t get some rest, grumpy!) and can still run when the need comes. He’s not exactly the strongest but he does have some power to his legs and arms. He works out in the salvage yard, cutting and moving pieces of space junk as well as moving around in a heavy weighted space suit. He’s also known to insult aliens bigger then him, which leads to a lot of escaping chases and fights.

That’s another thing he does pretty well. Fighting. Though he’s not great at it and he definitely has no formal training what so ever, he can handle himself pretty well in hand to hand combat, or at least take his beatings like the best of them. He can also handle some firearms though his aim isn’t the best and he has no training there either.

Though not trained in it either, he can pilot a ship pretty well. Driving seems almost easy really. But that really doesn’t have much to do with this place, does it.

He does however have a superior intellect, or at least high level IQ. He got that from his father, as well as Tek, who continued his studies after his father had gone. He’s brilliant, able to build small contraptions and machines when he was five, or study hard, complex mechanics that are beyond normal humans generally. Even on board the Valkyrie he managed to fix an interactive map that Gune, another ship genius couldn’t get working. Later they show him teaching a ton of others how to remodel a long dead ship into working order in a very short time period. he’s smart and knows how to get almost any machine or computer running.

Fat lot of good that will do him here.

Sensitivity/Magical Ability: No sensitive abilities at all. No magic either.

Supply List:
~ His father’s ring
~ One brownish-red sleeveless shirt
~ One light khaki pair of cargo pants
~ One pair of heavy boots
~ One buckle belt

Not much else. The movie shows him putting on shoes without socks, pants with no boxers and he really had nothing in his pockets so... very little is coming with him.

Game Transfers: N/A

Sample RP post:
He had expected water, not solid flooring. He had expected to bounce across the surface and sink under the clear water illuminated by the hydrogen trees in their creepy night orange light. Instead he landed on hard flooring, bounced along the ground, and tumbled through a corridor, rolling to a painful stop, ass over head first in the parlor. His body tumbled over his head and flopped on his back, rather hard before he stopped.

Eyes wide he laid there, breathing heavily for a catch of air, staring at a ceiling in shock. How did that happen? His shock rolled into mild surprise then confusion. Wasn’t he on Sesharrim just a moment ago? Flying through the hydrogen tree fields, over water, with a Gaoul helping him fly? Fly away from the Drej?

Ah, the Drej! He suddenly sat up, looking around still in surprise, and mild alarm. Where were they? He saw no glowing blue or hum of machines. No energy beings coming after him. He saw nothing but... a room. A room with door ways and... and it was a very old room, as if it had come out of one of Tek’s boring old history lessons.

He frowned, pushing himself to stand, only to groan. “Ouch... man, that was a hard landing...” His hands reached behind his back, pushing in, arching and scratching a bit. Now what? Blue eyes peeked around while his hands pulled at his body, working out the kinks. He had to be ready to run in an instant if he needed to.

“Where am I?”
